One of the coaching staff attempted to calm the player, who could not contain his frustration due to his forced exit, especially since he had been performing exceptionally well before his injury.

Kessie had scored a goal at the beginning of the second half, but French referee Clément Turpin decided to cancel it after reviewing the video technology, citing an offside situation.
