Mido Attacks Osama Hosny After Recent Statements
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, attacked Osama Hosny, the former Ahly star, following his recent statements against Zamalek.
Mido said in television statements on the "Al-Nahar" channel: "Everything that Osama Hosny said is wrong, and such statements should not come from someone close to the board of directors of Al Ahly club."
He added: "There is a tendency to take Zamalek lightly by some former Ahly stars, whereas you will find all former Zamalek stars speaking with great respect about Ahly at all times."
He continued: "How can you come on television and say that the Zamalek board sold part of the 6th of October land without obtaining the necessary permits! That is a serious accusation."
He completed: "To make such a statement, you must have evidence because you are talking about a big club, you are talking about Zamalek. Just because Zamalek is quiet and waiting for its legal rights does not mean it is vulnerable."
He concluded: "You are a person close to Mahmoud El Khatib, you must be careful with your words; you are calling for the dissolution of the Zamalek board, which means you want to bring down Zamalek."
