The coaching staff of Al-Ahli Jeddah, led by German Matthias Jaissle, has decided to exclude the Brazilian duo, Wanderson Jallino and Roger Ibanez, from the squad for the match against Al-Najma this evening, Thursday, in the sixth round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Jaissle's decision came after confirming that the players were not physically ready due to suffering from minor muscle injuries, as the coach preferred not to take any risks regarding their health, and they will continue their rehabilitation program at the club's headquarters in Jeddah.

The media center of Al-Ahli announced via the “X” platform that the team’s delegation arrived in the city of Buraidah on Thursday morning via a flight from Jeddah, in preparation for the anticipated match against Al-Najma at the club's stadium.

The list for the match saw the presence of French player Valentin Atangana and Brazilian midfielder Matheus, while the duo Jallino and Ibanez missed the trip, which will provide an opportunity for several young players to prove their abilities.

The match between Al-Ahli and Al-Najma will kick off at 9 PM Mecca time at Al-Najma Club Stadium, in a game where Al-Raqi seeks to compensate for its fluctuating results in the past rounds and regain the winning rhythm.

Al-Ahli currently occupies the eighth position in the Roshan Saudi League standings with 9 points after five rounds, while Al-Najma sits at the eighteenth and last position without any points, making this match a valuable opportunity for both teams to improve their standings.
