Chelsea Thrashes Ajax in the Champions League

The English team Chelsea achieved a resounding victory over their Dutch guest Ajax with a score of 5-1, in the match held at Stamford Bridge as part of the third round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Mark Guio opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 18th minute, before Moisés Caicedo added the second goal in the 27th minute. Ajax responded with their only goal in the 33rd minute through Wouter Vigerist from a penalty kick.

Enzo Fernández scored the third goal for Chelsea from a penalty in the 45th minute, then Estefao extended the lead with the fourth goal in the 45+6 minute from another penalty, before Tarek George capped off the five-goal tally in the 48th minute.

The match saw an early red card for Ajax player Kenneth Taylor in the 17th minute, complicating the task for the Dutch team throughout the match.

With this victory, Chelsea raised their points to 6, placing them in the eleventh position in the standings, while Ajax remained without points in the thirty-sixth position.
