European media reports revealed today, Wednesday, that Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca has reached a final agreement with Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech to join the team in the upcoming period, in a free transfer deal.

Ziyech, who is 32 years old, is currently not contracted to any club since his departure from Qatari club Al-Duhail before the start of the current season, making him available to transfer to any team without restrictions.

The Moroccan international was previously linked to several European clubs, notably Sevilla and Elche in Spain, as well as Club Brugge in Belgium, but negotiations did not succeed before Wydad intervened directly to sign him.

According to Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on his official account on the platform 'X', Ziyech has reached a final agreement with Wydad to join as a free agent, ready to represent the Moroccan team in the upcoming matches.

Ziyech's professional career includes a distinguished European experience, having played for Ajax Amsterdam, Chelsea, and Galatasaray before moving to Al-Duhail.
