Is Tarek Hamid Returning to Zamalek?
Ahmed Shobair confirmed in radio statements that there are some voices inside and outside Zamalek Club calling for Tarek Hamid's return to the white team.
He explained that the player was close to returning to Zamalek before the start of the current season after finishing his professional journey in the Saudi league at the end of last season, but the club's sports director, John Edward, rejected the matter.
Shobair added: "The talk about Tarek Hamid's return has resurfaced recently, and there are two directions within the club; the first believes that the player will not be able to compete due to his absence from the pitch for six months, while the other direction sees that his return could add significant experience to the team."
He concluded: "The Zamalek Board of Directors is handling this file with complete professionalism, leaving the final decision to both the sports director John Edward and the technical director Yannick Ferreira."
