The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed today, Wednesday, the official list of clubs nominated for the "Best Team in Africa for the year 2025" award, which includes the Moroccan club RS Berkane, following an exceptional season in which it excelled both locally and continentally, confirming its position among the continent's elite.

The list includes: RS Berkane (Morocco) – Pyramids (Egypt) – ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast) – CS Constantine (Algeria) – CR Belouizdad (Algeria) – Stellenbosch – Orlando Pirates – Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) – Simba (Tanzania) – Al Hilal (Sudan).

RS Berkane's nomination came after a distinguished season in which it won the Moroccan Professional Championship title "Inwi", along with its victory in the CAF Confederation Cup, reinforcing its presence as one of the most stable and successful clubs in recent years.

This nomination serves as an official recognition from CAF of the high level demonstrated by the Berkane team, which has continued to solidify its position among the elite clubs on the continent thanks to a comprehensive football project and an ambitious vision that combines performance and results.

The winner of the "Best Team in Africa for the year 2025" award is expected to be announced during the CAF Awards ceremony scheduled to take place at the end of this year, amidst strong competition among the continent's clubs that have marked a season filled with achievements.
