French club Paris Saint-Germain achieved a resounding victory over their hosts Bayer Leverkusen from Germany, with a score of 7-2, in the match held at the BayArena, as part of the third round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Willyan Batshuayi opened the scoring for Paris in the seventh minute, before Alex Garcia equalized for Leverkusen with a penalty in the 38th minute. Paris quickly regained the lead with a goal from Desiree Doi in the 41st minute, then Kheviša Kvaratskhelia added the third goal in the 44th minute, before Doi returned to score the fourth goal in the 45+3 minute.

In the second half, Paris Saint-Germain continued their dominance, with Nuno Mendes scoring the fifth goal in the 50th minute. Alex Garcia once again reduced the deficit for Leverkusen with a second goal in the 54th minute. Ousmane Dembélé added the sixth goal in the 66th minute, before Vitinha concluded the goal fest with the seventh goal in the 90th minute.

With this significant victory, Paris Saint-Germain raised their points tally to 9 at the top of the standings, while Bayer Leverkusen remained stuck at 2 points in the twenty-seventh position.
