The exchanged statements between Dani Carvajal, the star of Real Madrid, and Javier Tebas, the president of the Spanish League, have sparked widespread debate in Spanish football circles, following the ongoing controversy regarding the holding of the match between Barcelona and Villarreal outside of Spain.

Carvajal had previously stated that holding the match in Miami distorts the integrity of the competition, indicating that moving La Liga matches outside the country undermines the principle of equal opportunities.

Tebas responded to the player's statements by saying: "It seemed to me that the competition was more distorted due to all the videos from Real Madrid's channel last season, which were clearly meant to pressure the refereeing body."

However, Carvajal did not delay in responding, and posted on his Instagram story saying: "Hello Mr. Javier Tebas, non-compliance with the regulations means distorting the competition.
