Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, of Al-Ittihad Saudi Club, stressed the importance of the upcoming match against Iraqi Police scheduled for Monday evening as part of the third round of the group stage in the AFC Champions League.

Fabinho pointed out in the pre-match press conference on Sunday that Al-Ittihad's start this season has not been ideal, but he is confident in the team's ability to regain its form and compete strongly in the upcoming matches.

The Brazilian star explained: "We have the experience and the necessary capabilities to return to our level, and we are working in cooperation with the coaching staff to win matches and make our loyal fans happy," affirming his personal commitment to the team.

He added: "Tomorrow's match is very important in the tournament's journey, and we are striving for victory, and the presence of the fans brings enthusiasm without imposing any negative pressure on us," referring to the significant role of fan support.

Iraqi Police will host Al-Ittihad at the International City Stadium in Baghdad at 7 PM Saudi and Egyptian time, and 8 PM UAE time, in a crucial match for the Al-Nasr team.

Iraqi Police occupies the tenth place with one point, while Al-Ittihad has no points after losing in the first two rounds against Al-Wahda and Shabab Al-Ahli, making victory a necessity to compensate for the faltering start.
