Media figure Ahmed Shobir revealed the outlines of Al-Ahly's plan for the upcoming winter mercato.

Shobir stated during his program "With Shobir" on "On Sport FM" radio that Al-Ahly is looking to conclude a limited number of deals in the coming winter.

He added that the football management at Al-Ahly is studying contracts with players from local and continental leagues, whether in Africa or Europe, to strengthen the team.

He pointed out that Al-Ahly has clearly defined its needs, which include signing three players for the striker position, in addition to one player for the left-back position, and another for the midfield.

Shobir confirmed that Al-Ahly will not proceed with any contracts unless they are necessary and meet the technical needs, in adherence to the policy of rationalizing spending and quality selection.
