
Algerian Federation Supports Ameen Gouiri
The Algerian Football Federation has extended its support to the national team player Ameen Gouiri, the striker for French club Olympique Marseille.
This comes after the serious injury the player sustained in the national team's last match in the World Cup qualifiers against Uganda.
According to a statement from Olympique Marseille, Gouiri is expected to be sidelined for approximately three months due to undergoing shoulder surgery.
The statement read: "The Algerian Football Federation, led by Mr. Walid Sadi, and all the national team staff under the guidance of national coach Vladimir Petkovic, wish our international player Ameen Gouiri a speedy recovery."
