Flick Continues to Shine with Barcelona
Sunday 19-10-2025
Hans Flick, the coach of Barcelona, continues to lead the team with a remarkable offensive style, as the team has scored 201 goals under his leadership since taking over, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.

In the last match against Girona, Flick resorted to placing defender Ronald Araujo in an unconventional position to secure victory, a strategy reminiscent of what Johan Cruyff did with José Ramón Alexanco, resulting in two goals that earned the team three valuable points.

Last season, Barcelona, under Flick's leadership, scored 174 goals in 60 official matches, averaging 2.9 goals per match, while this season the team has scored 27 goals in 11 matches, averaging 2.45 goals per match.

Barcelona continues to break records, having scored in 47 consecutive matches, surpassing the previous club record of 45 matches, and is on track to reach 50 consecutive matches.

On the downside, Barcelona has conceded goals in 5 consecutive matches since their 3-0 victory over Getafe, against Oviedo (1), Real Sociedad (1), Paris Saint-Germain (2), Sevilla (4), and Girona (1).

Regarding discipline, Flick has been sent off twice this season due to protests during matches, compared to only one red card in his playing career, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.
