Mamdouh Zalaka, a player for Pyramids, expressed his happiness with his team's victory in the African Super Cup title.
Pyramids clinched the title after defeating Nahdet Berkane with a narrow goal this Saturday evening.
Zalaka said in statements after the match: "Thank God, our Lord's grace was with us in both tournaments, the African Champions League and the African Super Cup, and may God keep it a blessing."
He added: "Three or four years ago, I wouldn't have believed I would be here, and when the championship is outside of Al Ahly and Zamalek, it has a different flavor, thank God, Lord of the Worlds."
He concluded: "Without my parents' prayers, I wouldn't have achieved anything."
