The Egyptian club Pyramids was crowned the 2025 African Super Cup champion after defeating their Moroccan counterpart RS Berkane with a score of 1-0, in a match held at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, on the evening of Saturday, October 18.

The only goal of the match was scored by player Ibrahim Maïli in the 75th minute, after he unleashed a powerful shot from a nearly impossible angle, surprising the international goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi, with the ball settling in the net to announce Pyramids' first title in this continental competition.

Pyramids entered the match as the African Champions League titleholder and succeeded in writing a new chapter in their football history by winning their first African Super Cup title, continuing to enhance their continental record after recently claiming the Champions League title for the first time in their history.

On the other hand, RS Berkane, the holder of the African Confederation Cup title, failed to win the Super Cup for the second time in their history, having previously won the title against Wydad Casablanca.

With this victory, Pyramids continues to affirm its strong presence in the African football arena, establishing itself as one of the prominent new contenders for continental titles.
