The German Football Association announced the appointment of the famous coach Jurgen Klopp to a team of experts aimed at developing German football.

This team includes a group of club presidents alongside Sami Khedira, the former player of the German national team, Real Madrid, Juventus, and other clubs.

Mark Lenz, the managing director of the association, stated: "We want to maintain the competitiveness of German football in all areas."

He added: "We are convinced of the necessity to establish the appropriate financial, legal, and sporting frameworks to continuously maintain the competitiveness of the Bundesliga and German football."

This new role adds to Klopp's current position as the head of global football at Red Bull, which is responsible for several clubs in different countries, including RB Leipzig.

It is noteworthy that Klopp, who left Liverpool in the summer of 2024, decided to step away from coaching and recently stated that he does not wish to return.
