He arrived in the early hours of dawn today, Friday, in the capital Baghdad, the new coaching staff of Al-Zawraa team led by the Egyptian coach Imad Al-Nahhas, to begin a new phase with the "Nawaris" after a series of recent changes in the team's coaching staff.

The delegation coming from Cairo included, alongside Al-Nahhas, both Mohamed Mohsen Abu Griasha who will take on the role of assistant coach, and Mohamed Fathi, the goalkeeping coach, who were welcomed at Baghdad International Airport by Abdul Amir Nagy, the Vice President of the Al-Zawraa club's administrative body, who welcomed the new coaching staff and wished them success in their upcoming mission.

The management of Al-Zawraa confirmed in an official statement that the contract with coach Imad Al-Nahhas came after extensive study to choose a coaching staff that possesses the experience and ability to bring the team back to the path of victories, especially after the team's faltering start this season both in the Iraqi Premier League and on the Asian level.

It is scheduled that coach Imad Al-Nahhas will lead the first training session for the team this evening, Friday, at the club's stadium in the capital Baghdad, marking the beginning of preparations for facing the Tajikistan team, Istiklol, in the second round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2, a match that the new coaching staff has high hopes for a strong start.

The Egyptian coach Imad Al-Nahhas has a distinguished coaching career in Egyptian stadiums, having previously led major teams such as Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab, Ismaily, and Al-Ittihad Alexandria. He is also known for his abilities in building well-organized tactical teams, qualities that prompted the management of Al-Zawraa to choose him to lead the technical helm of the team in the upcoming phase.

Al-Zawraa fans hope that Al-Nahhas's arrival will mark a turning point in the team's results, especially since the "Nawaris" aim to compete strongly for the local league title this season, alongside achieving honorable results in the Asian championship, which represents a real test for the new coaching staff.
