The Saudi Ittihad Club is facing a crowded schedule after the international break, as the team prepares to play three strong matches within a few days, starting with a meeting against Al-Faihah in the fifth round of the Roshen Professional League on Friday evening.

Following that match, there is an anticipated encounter against the Iraqi Police next Monday in Baghdad, as part of the third round of the AFC Champions League, before Ittihad clashes with its rival Al-Hilal at the end of the week in Jeddah in a highly anticipated summit.

Sources close to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper revealed that the administrative staff decided to grant the players one day of training in Jeddah after the match against Al-Faihah, with the training session scheduled for Saturday at the club's headquarters in preparation for traveling to Baghdad on Sunday morning.

The Ittihad delegation left Jeddah on Thursday heading to Riyadh, before transferring by land to Al-Majma'ah to play the match against Al-Faihah, and is set to return directly to Jeddah after the match in preparation for the next phase of the intense schedule.

Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição hopes to achieve a new start with the team after recently taking over the technical responsibility, aiming to restore balance to the team's performance and regain the winning tone.

Ittihad currently has nine points out of a possible twelve, after suffering a loss against Al-Nassr in the last round, a defeat that ended the tenure of French coach Laurent Blanc, opening a new chapter for Conceição with the defending champion.
