Reports have revealed that Al-Ahly club is facing a crisis in determining the return date to Cairo after facing Burundi's Eagle Noir next Saturday in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
According to the club's official channel, the management has not yet settled on a return date for the team's delegation from Burundi, and matters remain unclear regarding this issue at the moment.
The channel explained in its report that the club's administration has contacted the Egyptian embassy in Burundi to coordinate the return of the team to Cairo, as Bujumbura Airport closes at six in the evening.
This prevents the delegation from returning after the match against Eagle Noir, as the game is scheduled for four in the afternoon.
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Ahly delegation arrived in Burundi to face Eagle Noir with 24 players yesterday, Thursday.
