Football Italia revealed that Napoli does not intend to rush the return of their striker Romelu Lukaku to the pitch, following a serious injury he sustained during the preparation period for the current season, with the club targeting his return during the Italian Super Cup on December 18th.

Lukaku suffered a serious muscle injury in his left thigh during a friendly match against Olympiakos on August 14th, and medical examinations at the time indicated that he would need a treatment period ranging from three to four months.
