Al Ahly Concludes First Training Session in Burundi
The newspaper "Al-Masry Al-Youm" reported that the Al Ahly team concluded its first training session today, Thursday, in Burundi at the Bujumbura International Stadium in preparation for the match against Eagle Noir in the African Champions League.
Al Ahly will face Eagle Noir next Saturday in the first leg of the 32nd round of the Champions League.
The newspaper added that the training session was marked by heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder.
The Al Ahly delegation arrived in Burundi this afternoon on a private plane, where they were welcomed by Ambassador Amira Abdul Rahim, Egypt's ambassador to Burundi, along with the embassy staff, and Captain Samir Adly, the administrative director.
