Al-Hilal Approaches Renewal of Bounou and Savic Contracts
The management of Al-Hilal Saudi Club is nearing the completion of the contract renewal for stars Yassine Bounou and Sergej Savic, following significant progress in the ongoing negotiations between the two parties in recent days.
Al-Hilal is working to secure the continuity of its key players, as the management aims to extend the contracts of both Bounou and Savic, in addition to Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves, whose contracts with the club expire next summer.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz", the club has reached a final agreement with the duo Bounou and Savic to renew their contracts for an additional two seasons, with an official announcement expected soon.
Sources indicated that the Al-Hilal management is currently reviewing the legal terms of the new contracts before the final signing and announcement through the club's official platforms.
The move to expedite negotiations with Savic, in particular, came after reports emerged of interest from major European clubs such as Chelsea, Juventus, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahçe in acquiring his services for free next summer.
It is worth noting that Al-Hilal had acquired Yassine Bounou from Sevilla for 21 million euros, and Sergej Savic from Lazio for approximately 40 million euros during the summer transfer window of 2023.
