The Saudi Al-Ettifaq Club officially announced the absence of Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Kahraba from the upcoming match against Al-Hilal in the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League, due to suffering from a muscle injury.

Kahraba's exclusion from the team's roster came after he failed to pass the medical tests he underwent recently, confirming his unavailability for the match scheduled to take place at Al-Ettifaq's stadium in Dammam next Saturday evening.

Sources within the club clarified that the injury the player sustained during the past period prevented him from joining the collective training, despite the medical team's efforts to prepare him in time before the match.

On the other hand, the team's training witnessed the return of player Ziyad Al-Ghamdi after fully recovering from his injury, making him ready to participate again in the coach's lineup as the team prepares for the anticipated clash against the Al-Zaeem Al-Hilali.

The match between Al-Ettifaq and Al-Hilal is expected to kick off at 5:45 PM Mecca time, amidst great public anticipation, given the importance of the three points in the race to advance in the league standings.

Al-Hilal currently occupies the sixth position in the standings with 8 points after four rounds, while Al-Ettifaq is in eighth place, just one point behind, which increases the intensity of the confrontation between the two teams seeking to return strongly to the competition.
