Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior is facing legal proceedings in Brazil after being accused of "disturbing public tranquility" due to a massive party he held in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday.

The case is being heard in the ninth criminal court in Rio, which specializes in minor misdemeanors, based on a complaint filed by a neighbor regarding the loud noise generated by the party, which lasted from July 19 to 21.

According to the complaint, military police intervened after receiving reports from residents, and attendees were asked to lower the volume; however, after the security personnel left, the music returned to high levels.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 6 to consider the case, and according to Brazilian law, the crime of "disturbing public tranquility" is punishable by imprisonment from 15 days to 3 months or a monetary fine.

Local press revealed that the party was one of the largest events in the city, with around 500 guests, including his Real Madrid teammate Eduardo Camavinga and the famous singer Anitta, along with musical performances from international artists, most notably Travis Scott, as well as fireworks and a massive festive atmosphere.
