Ivory Coast midfielder Frank Kessie, currently playing for Al-Ahli Saudi, is strongly rumored to be making a return to the Italian league amid serious interest from Juventus in signing him during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Juventus management considers Kessie one of their main targets to strengthen the midfield, although the high salary the player receives poses the biggest obstacle to finalizing the anticipated deal.

The Ivorian star previously shone while wearing the AC Milan jersey during his time in Serie A, contributing to winning the Scudetto before moving to Barcelona in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer after his contract with the Rossoneri expired.

In his only season with Barcelona, Kessie managed to win the La Liga title for 2022-2023, before agreeing to transfer to Al-Ahli Saudi in 2023 for 12.5 million euros.

Since joining Al-Ahli, Kessie has delivered impressive performances under German coach Matthias Jaissle, becoming one of the key pillars of the Jeddah team, which has once again drawn European attention to him.

Kessie's contract with Al-Ahli ends in June 2026, while Juventus management closely monitors the situation in hopes of reaching a suitable financial agreement, especially since the player does not hide his previous happiness with the Italian experience, which may facilitate his return to Serie A soon.
