According to the sources, Awaad has informed Zamalek's management of his desire to stay with the team until the end of his contract and not leave the white castle, despite being out of the technical staff's plans.

The sources added that Awaad rejected several offers at the beginning of the current season after agreeing to reduce the value of his contract with Zamalek when renewing, as he wishes to remain within the club.
