The red team held its final training on the pitch of the "Wellness" sports complex, before heading this Wednesday evening to the Ghanaian capital, Accra, in anticipation of the upcoming match at the end of the week.
The Wydad administration decided to advance the travel date to allow the players to acclimatize early to the climatic conditions in Ghana, which experiences higher temperatures and humidity compared to the weather in Morocco, according to sources close to the club.
The match is expected to take place next Sunday, starting at 4 PM (16:00 GMT +1), in one of the most prominent matches of the preliminary round of the continental competition.
