Tottenham Hotspur has announced the return of Italian Fabio Paratici to the position of sporting director of the club.

The statement read: "We are pleased to announce the return of Fabio Paratici to the club as sporting director. Fabio will work alongside Johan Lange, who has also been promoted to become the sporting director."

It added: "This is part of a new structure for our men's football operation, designed to enhance leadership, collaboration, and long-term decision-making across all areas of the men's and boys' game."

It continued: "They will jointly lead the men's football strategy and usher in an ambitious new chapter for the club. This development is part of the club's ongoing investment in world-class men's and women's football structures designed to achieve sustainable success on the pitch."

It also stated: "The combined experience of Johan and Fabio will ensure that every decision, from player pathways and performance development to scouting and recruitment, aligns with and supports a single overarching goal – to build a winning, world-class men's team that lasts."

It concluded: "This partnership reflects a progressive approach to modern football operations - uniting two leaders who have proven their competence and possess complementary expertise, with a commitment to collaboration and innovation."
