Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, expressed his great pride in the Saudi national football team's qualification for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Prime Minister, in appreciation of the significant support that Saudi sports receive in various fields.

The Minister of Sports stated in a press statement that this achievement is the result of the vision of wise leadership, which has provided all the resources to develop the sports sector and enabled athletes to represent the nation in the best light at major international forums.

Al-Faisal affirmed that the Saudi national team's qualification for the World Cup for the seventh time in its history reflects the organized work and continuous development of Saudi football, thanks to the technical and administrative programs established by the ministry and the Saudi Football Federation over the past years.

He also praised the significant role played by the players and the technical and administrative teams in achieving this well-deserved qualification, appreciating the spirit of discipline and determination that the team displayed throughout the qualifiers, which embodied the Kingdom's ambition to raise its flag globally.
