Imad Al-Nahhas, the former interim coach of Al-Ahly, commented on the club's honor for him.

He said in statements to the official Al-Ahly website: "I am very happy with the honor I received from Al-Khatib and the planning committee for the period I spent at the club, whether at the end of last season or during the last few weeks. There is no doubt that my honor today carries a message to everyone confirming Al-Ahly's constant care for its members."

He pointed out that taking on the role during the past period was a great honor, and the least he could offer as a member of the club.

He continued: "I was surprised by the words inscribed on the honor shield... There are no words to describe what I felt towards this wonderful gesture from Mahmoud Al-Khatib, who thanked me greatly and wished me success in my future endeavors."

Al-Nahhas expressed his gratitude to Al-Ahly fans, who represent the main support for the team, and said that everyone is striving and working with all their energy to make them happy.
