According to press sources, Imam Ashour informed the club's medical staff that his condition has improved and he is close to recovering from Virus A.
The sources indicated that the player requested to travel with the Red Devils' delegation to the UAE to participate in the Egyptian Super Cup.
The sources revealed that the medical staff set October 20 of this month as the date to determine Imam Ashour's status regarding traveling with the team to the UAE.
The sources confirmed that Imam Ashour will undergo new tests on October 20 to assess the developments in his health condition and his response to treatment.
The player also requires a period of more than 10 days to undergo physical and technical training to qualify him for a return to the team list for the Egyptian Super Cup.
