Brighton Works to Sign Manchester United Striker
Journalist Jamie Hudson reported that English club Brighton is working to sign Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United next January.
This comes after the former Bayern Munich and Bologna player became dissatisfied with his lack of playing time this season under manager Ruben Amorim.
Hudson stated that Brighton has made initial contacts with the player's agents and sees him as a suitable replacement after Joao Pedro's departure to Chelsea and Ivan Ferguson's loan to Roma.
Manchester, which spent heavily to strengthen its attack in the summer by signing Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko, has largely sidelined Zirkzee.
