According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", FC Barcelona is closely monitoring the development of English star Marcus Rashford's performance before deciding on signing the rising Portuguese talent Cardoso Faria, a player from Dinamo Zagreb.

The newspaper explained that Barcelona strengthened the left-wing position during the last summer transfer window after unsuccessful attempts to sign Luis Diaz and Nico Williams, before eventually signing Rashford on loan from Manchester United.

The 27-year-old English player has started his journey with the Catalan team well, contributing to eight goals by scoring three and assisting five.

The newspaper added that Barcelona's management is closely following the development of 16-year-old Cardoso Faria, the left winger from Dinamo Zagreb, who previously played for Porto and is considered one of the most prominent rising Portuguese talents.

It also mentioned that Faria had visited Barcelona's sports facilities last year before his transfer to the Croatian team.

The newspaper confirmed that Barcelona will make its decision regarding Faria next summer, based on Rashford's performance, especially since the club has the option to purchase the English player from Manchester United for just 30 million euros.

The report indicated that Chelsea FC is also monitoring Faria and may compete with Barcelona for his signing, noting that the player's contract with Dinamo Zagreb runs until June 2028.
