Al-Ghandour Denies Turb's Request to Sign Mustafa Mohamed
Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour denied that Yass Turb, the new coach of Al-Ahly, had requested to sign Mustafa Mohamed, the star of Nantes, during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Al-Ghandour confirmed through the "Stadium Al-Mihr" program that Turb did not hold any meetings with the planning committee or with Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club president, to request the signing of Mustafa Mohamed or anyone else.
He added that Turb will lead the training of the Red Team today, Tuesday, in preparation for the match against Burundi's Eagle Noir in the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly will face Eagle Noir next Saturday in the first leg of the 32nd round of the Champions League.
