Sources revealed that the German Matthias Jaissle, the coach of Al-Ahli Saudi Club, has decided to conduct a practice match different from the usual one 24 hours before facing Al-Shabab next Friday in the fifth round of the league championship.

According to press reports, Jaissle requested his coaching staff to create a special program for the international players after they return from participating with their national teams, in order to rely on them in the match against Al-Shabab.

Press sources confirmed that the international players will have a rest day on Wednesday before entering the final training session on Thursday.

It is noteworthy that there are 10 players absent from Al-Ahli during the international break: Riyad Mahrez, Edouard Mendy, Merih Demiral, Franck Kessié, Valentin Atangana, Abdul Rahman Al-Sanbi, Ali Majrashi, Mohamed Suleiman, Ziad Al-Jahni, and Saleh Abu Shamat, and Firas Al-Buraikan.
