The Spanish network 'Defensa Central' reported that Real Madrid is planning to reward the Turkish star Arda Güler for his impressive performances this season under the management of Xabi Alonso.

The newspaper clarified that the royal club's management is considering renewing Güler's contract until 2031, instead of the current contract which runs until 2028, while increasing his annual salary from 2.6 million euros to 4.5 million euros net.

This decision comes in appreciation of the significant development the young player has shown in his performance, and to distance him from the interest of European clubs that are closely monitoring him after his remarkable brilliance with Real Madrid this season.

The Turkish star has participated in 10 matches across all competitions this season, managing to score 3 goals and provide 4 assists.
