Monday 13-10-2025
Al-Zawraa Club officially announced the formation of its new coaching staff, which will lead the team during the upcoming phase of the Iraqi Premier League, as part of the club management's efforts to restore balance and positive results after a period of fluctuating performance.

Egyptian coach Emad Nasser will take on the role of leading the team during the upcoming period, marking his first coaching experience in Iraqi football, following a successful coaching career in the Egyptian league, where he oversaw prominent clubs such as Al-Ahly.

The new coaching staff will include a group of Arab and Iraqi names, with Hossam Fawzi taking on the role of first assistant coach, while Mohammed Mohsen Abu Jreisha will serve as the second assistant to Nasser, as part of a work plan aimed at achieving technical and administrative harmony among the coaching staff.

The team's technical analyst will be Mohammed Hilal, who has extensive experience in performance analysis and match reading, while Mohammed Fathi will take on the role of goalkeeper coach, being one of the distinguished names in goalkeeper training.

On the physical side, Dr. Mazen Abdul Sattar will be responsible for the fitness coach role, as he will work on enhancing the players' physical readiness, especially given the pressure of upcoming matches both locally and continentally.

Al-Zawraa fans hope that the new staff, led by Emad Nasser, will succeed in bringing the team back to the path of victories and restoring the prestige of Al-Nawras as one of the most prominent and historic clubs in Iraq, especially after a fluctuating start to the current season.
