Hervé Renard, the coach of the Saudi national team, excluded Al-Aboud from the Falcons' camp held in Jeddah, in preparation for the match against Iraq next Tuesday, as part of the final round of the Asian playoff, due to injury.
Al-Aboud's exclusion came after medical examinations confirmed that the player had a jaw injury, and he was referred to a specialist doctor in one of the hospitals in Jeddah to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
Medical reports indicate that Al-Aboud's absence from the pitch will extend for the next four weeks.
