Al-Zawraa Iraqi Club announced this morning, Saturday, its official contract with Emad Al-Nahhas, the interim head coach of Al-Ahly Club in Egypt, to take on the responsibility of leading the team for the current season.

The club revealed in its official statement that the contract with Emad Al-Nahhas came after a thorough study aimed at selecting the most suitable name to lead the team in the upcoming phase.

The club pointed out that Emad Al-Nahhas is one of the prominent coaching names in Egyptian and Arab football, possessing enough experience that made him the ideal choice to coach a team of the size and value of Al-Zawraa.

Egyptian head coach Emad Al-Nahhas embarks on a new coaching adventure in the Iraqi league following the conclusion of his interim role with Al-Ahly.

His mission with Al-Ahly ended after the arrival of the new coaching staff led by Danish coach Yas Sorob to take over the technical direction of the first football team.
