Journalist Badr Al-Balbeed, an expert on Asian affairs, revealed that the Best Asian Player Award for 2025 will be presented at the official ceremony organized by the Asian Football Confederation next Thursday at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh.

Al-Balbeed explained that this event will witness the crowning of the continent's top stars, noting that the grand prize for Best Asian Player will be presented during the main ceremony, while the announcement of the other awards will take place at separate times later.

He pointed out that other awards will include honoring the Best Asian Player active outside the continent, the Best Young Female Player in Asia, in addition to the Best Young Player in the continent for this year.

The upcoming events will also include granting the Best Asian Female Player playing outside the continent, in recognition of the contributions of female players who deliver outstanding performances in major international leagues.

The journalist added that the Asian Federation has also allocated special awards for Asian referees who have performed exceptionally in continental and international tournaments, in appreciation of their role in developing the game and raising the standards of officiating in Asia.

The ceremony is expected to feature the participation of a select group of sports personalities and officials from Asian federations, making it a prominent celebratory event honoring those who have contributed to elevating the level of Asian football throughout 2025.
