Massimiliano Allegri, the head coach of AC Milan, has won the Coach of the Month award for September in Serie A, as announced by the Serie A League. Allegri is scheduled to receive the award before Milan's next home match against Fiorentina on Sunday, October 19.

The league clarified in its statement that the award was granted based on an evaluation by a committee of sports media directors regarding the technical and athletic performance level of the team, the coach's behavior, and sportsmanship during the matches, taking into account the matches from rounds three to five of the 2025/2026 season.

Luigi De Servio, the executive director of the Serie A League, stated: "Allegri's impact on Milan's impressive start is quite evident; he quickly reshaped the team, utilized his players' abilities, and instilled a winning mentality along with the necessary spirit of sacrifice and determination to achieve major goals."

Allegri is considered the second highest-paid coach in Serie A with a net salary of 5 million euros annually, equal to AS Roma's coach Gian Piero Gasperini, while Napoli's coach Antonio Conte tops the list with a salary of 8 million euros annually.
