Erling Haaland, the striker for Manchester City, has been named the Player of the Month for September 2025 in the Premier League, marking the fourth time he has received this award in his professional career.

Haaland delivered an exceptional performance throughout the month, scoring five goals and providing an assist in just three matches, significantly contributing to the team's victories and remaining unbeaten.

Haaland stated on Manchester City's official website: "September was an important month for us as a team, we played good football and achieved important victories for our fans, I am happy to have helped the team with goals and performance, now we need to continue working hard during the tough schedule after the international break."

Haaland started the month by scoring a stunning brace against Manchester United, bringing his total to seven goals in the Manchester Derby, just one goal shy of the record shared by Sergio Agüero and Wayne Rooney. He also scored the opening goal in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal, before concluding the month with a brace against Burnley, bringing his total goals in the Premier League to eight.

This is the first time since August 2024 that Haaland has won the Player of the Month award after his previous wins in August 2022 and April 2023.
