The Moroccan national team achieved a deserved victory over their Egyptian counterpart with a score of (2-0) in the friendly match held on Thursday evening at the Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia.

The goals of the match were scored by Amin Zahzouh and Mahmoud Bentayk, leading the national team to an important moral victory as part of their intensive preparations for the Arab Cup scheduled to take place between December 1 and 18, 2025.

The Moroccan team delivered a convincing performance throughout the match, with the players showing clear harmony among their three lines, excelling in possession and spreading across the field, reflecting the systematic technical work being carried out by the coaching staff.

The "Rif Black Lions" will continue their preparation program by playing a second friendly match against the Kuwait national team on October 14 in Dubai, aiming to enhance the cohesion among players and assess their technical readiness before entering the Arab championship.

The Moroccan national team will compete in the 2025 Arab Cup in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, the winner of the Oman-Somalia match, and the qualifier from the Yemen-Comoros clash.
