Former Al Ahly Star Suggests Donating to Zamalek Club
Ikrami Al-Shahat, the former star of Al Ahly, suggested donating to Zamalek due to the crisis the white club is currently facing.
Ikrami said on MBC Masr 1 channel: "I have a suggestion; Zamalek has 50 million or more fans. If each of the 50 million donated 2 pounds, Zamalek would receive 100 million pounds in 5 months, reaching half a billion, which would help Zamalek out of its crisis. This is a suggestion I thought of, because no one will give it half a billion."
He added: "The money can be gathered, and an account can be opened in the bank, or someone they trust can have an account in their name."
He continued: "It's not a shame for me to bring a personality to open the account in their name, and the money that enters their account goes to Zamalek, and we can call it 'Save Zamalek'. Stand by Zamalek, the club needs someone to save it."
