Imad Al-Nahhas Refuses to Stay at Al-Ahly
Sources have confirmed that Imad Al-Nahhas, the former interim coach of Al-Ahly Club, has rejected an offer from Mahmoud El-Khatib, the club's president, to take a position within the football company in the upcoming period.
According to press reports, Mahmoud El-Khatib offered Imad Al-Nahhas a position in the football company after the coach declined the position of deputy head of the youth sector, which was assigned to Dutchman Art Langeler. However, Al-Nahhas also rejected this offer.
It is noteworthy that Imad Al-Nahhas took over the role of interim coach of Al-Ahly Club following the dismissal of Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro from leading the red team at the end of August.
The Al-Ahly administration appointed Danish coach Yas Sorob as the team's head coach with a contract extending for two and a half years, prompting Imad Al-Nahhas to leave the coaching staff.
Press sources revealed that Imad Al-Nahhas is looking to embark on a new experience as a head coach with a club in the upcoming period after his departure from Al-Ahly.
