Football Italia revealed that Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee, a Manchester United player, may return to Serie A during the upcoming winter transfer window, following a tough period in the Premier League.

Zirkzee joined Manchester United in the summer of 2024 from Bologna for €42.5 million, but he has struggled to prove himself, having played only 92 minutes this season spread over four matches, despite the departure of his teammate Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli.

According to the report, the player and his agent are looking for a new destination next January to ensure regular participation, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching, as Zirkzee fears losing his place in the Netherlands national team.

The same source indicated that several Italian clubs are monitoring the player's situation, including Milan, which is not fully satisfied with the performance of its striker Santiago Gimenez, in addition to Como, while Juventus, Napoli, and Inter Milan seem less interested at the moment due to their available attacking options.
