Mbappe Returns to France National Team Training
French star Kylian Mbappe has returned to training with his national team after missing recent sessions due to an injury he is suffering from.
The French star had sustained a minor ankle injury during his team's victory over Villarreal (3-1) on Saturday in the eighth round of La Liga.
Journalist Andres Onrubia reported that Mbappe participated in the first part of the training session with his teammates, then engaged in individual training alongside defender Ibrahima Konate, who is also experiencing mild discomfort, while the other players played a short match at the end of the session.
Reports indicate that the French national team will not risk including Mbappe in the match on Friday against Azerbaijan in the seventh round of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The French national team will play against Iceland on Monday, October 13, in the World Cup qualifiers.
