The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first football player in history to have a net worth exceeding one billion dollars, according to a Bloomberg report.

The Spanish newspaper added in its report that Ronaldo's net worth has reached 1.4 billion dollars after renewing his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027, with a value exceeding 400 million dollars, in addition to receiving 15% ownership of the club.

Between 2002 and 2023, Ronaldo earned a total salary of 550 million dollars and gained massive sponsorship earnings that added more than 175 million dollars to his wealth, along with his revenues from social media.

Additionally, Ronaldo earned an annual income of nearly 200 million dollars tax-free from his transfer to Al-Nassr in 2023, along with a signing bonus of 30 million dollars.
