The Spanish Ramon Blanis, the sporting director of Al-Ittihad Club, revealed the details of the final hours before the dismissal of French coach Laurent Blanc from leading the team following the loss to Al-Nassr in the Saudi League.

Blanis stated in his remarks that the decision to dismiss Blanc was very sad, and it is not the first time he has gone through these difficult emotions.

Blanis added: "Changing the coach was a sad decision, and this is not the first time in my sports career that I have faced such difficult moments, but I believe the decision was made in a professional manner, as we respected the club's work policy."

He continued: "I have fulfilled my role as a sporting director by conducting the technical analysis and sending reports to the CEO Domingo Suarez."

He completed: "After internal discussions, everyone agreed on the decision to change, as the current phase will require new additions to the team and the coaching staff."
