Al-Ittihad Club announced this evening, Wednesday, its official contract with Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição, the former AC Milan coach, to lead the first football team.

The club's management, led by Fahd Sindi, successfully contracted with Conceição to coach the team following the dismissal of Frenchman Laurent Blanc, who was fired after losing the classic match against Al-Nassr in the league.

The club's account published a video clip on the social media platform 'X' featuring a statement from the Portuguese coach about his mission with the team during the current season.

Conceição stated: "Victory is not an option but an identity that distinguishes us; competitors change and their aides are defeated, while the champion remains steadfast and is the master of the game. I am Sergio Conceição, I came to create glory with Al-Ittihad."
